Yes, you have read right. And yes this is psychedelic enough to blast a rocket into orbit. Heavy glitched, synth-based music to listen very well leaned back into a darkened room.

Waving from 8bit to hard breaks and a load of glitches , clicks and cuts FANCY MIKE is determined to drill way down into your mind.

To make this point clear you just have to read the names on some of his tracks, devoting quite a few to hinduist neurobiologist (?) RAMACHANDRAN.

Not only this, to what seems to be the soundtrack to some cheap sci-fi b-movie FANCY MIKE has in his latest record quite an array of colaborators and remixers for his tracks including, perhaps the most notorious, the avant-garde japanise collective of SATANICPORNOCULTSHOP.

To understand a little bit of what could be Mike’s own world you just have to know, as you can read on his label’s profile, that he is also a visual artist (he worked for haute-couture designer CHRISTIAN DIOR) that spends his days managing a biannual literary and fine arts journal and “at night, he makes beats and e-mails famous people so they’ll listen to his music”.
